Stuart presents the show solo, with wildlife expert, photographer and author, Chris Packham. Chris joins us live from the Caerlaverock Wetland Centre near Dumfries, the venue for this year's Autumnwatch. Caerlaverock Wetland Centre is on the banks of the Solway Firth, the overwintering home for the entire population of 30,000 Svalbard barnacle geese. It's also one of only two places in the UK where you can find a tiny three-eyed prehistoric animal called a tadpole shrimp, or a triops, which is one of the oldest species in the world. The 1500 acre wetland site is managed by the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust (WWT).
