Nick Grimshaw celebrates some of the most famous songs in cinema.

Nick Grimshaw traces the heritage of the iconic Bond song, celebrating classics such as Live and Let Die and talking to Sam Smith about his new Bond theme, Writing's On the Wall.

The Bond song is a unique intersection between the worlds of music and film. Every time there's a new 007 film, the mystery begins; which artist will be chosen to record the Bond song? How will it compare to the classic Bond themes from across the decades?

Nick Grimshaw celebrates the musical heritage of James Bond, from the iconic original Monty Norman instrumental theme through such classic tracks as 'Live And Let Die', 'Goldfinger', 'A View To A Kill' and 'Skyfall'... all the way to the newest Bond song 'Writing's On The Wall' by Sam Smith.

Featuring exclusive interviews with Sam Smith, his co-writer Jimmy Napes, and prolific Bond music producer David Arnold, this documentary talks to the characters at the heart of story of The Bond song. There are also contributions from Sir Paul McCartney, 007 Producers Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli and Radio 1 film critic Rhianna Dhillon.
