Yasser and some famous friends find out what it takes to make it in the USA to mark the release of new documentary BBC Introducing Goes Stateside.

To celebrate the release of the new documentary 'BBC Introducing Goes Stateside', Yasser found out what it takes to make it in the USA with the help of American stars Mickey Singh and Anjali, and our favourite British exports Sonna Rele and iMC.

In the documentary, which is out on Monday 12th October on the iPlayer, BBC Introducing hits the American asphalt with 2014's BBC Introducing Newcomer Award winners Catfish and the Bottlemen and North Welsh band Van McCann. Over on the West Coast we speak to legendary producer, Rick Rubin, and get exclusive access to his recording studio in Malibu - Shangri La as we meet up with the Ruen Brothers. The film rounds off in Austin, Texas at the biggest music festival in America - South by Southwest - where we follow 6 new BBC Introducing artists in the run up to the BBC Introducing & PRS showcase. 

We'll be playing clips from the documentary and speaking to some of our own talent making it big in the States.
