We had live reaction to the chancellor GEORGE OSBORNE'S speech at the conservative party conference. Merseyside Police Chief Constable SIR JON MURPHY launched a manhunt after a police officer was killed after being hit by a stolen pick-up truck. On the day that plastic bag charging came in to force in England we were live at a rubbish dump to hear just how long it takes for a bag to decompose. We heard from the political sketch writer ANN TRENEMAN who told us about stalking politicians and gave her thoughts on who might be the next PM. The Chelsea Ladies Manager EMMA HAYES was this week's sporting hero. And in the final hour of the show we debated whether cannabis should be legalised ahead of a Commons debate next week.
