In 1977 the Nigerian military stormed the musician's compound in Lagos.

In 1977 the Nigerian military stormed Fela Kuti's compound in Lagos. He was an outspoken critic of the military government. His mother was injured, his home burned down.

The day the Nigerian military stormed the musician's compound in Lagos. They burned down the buildings and threw his mother out of a window - she never recovered. Hear from one of his former wives about the events of that day.
