Four young bakers head into the Bake Off ready to do baking battle. With a place in the semi-final at stake, there's everything to bake for. They first face the technical challenge, putting their baking intuition on the spot as they tackle a new recipe. This time it's James's recipe for delicious sticky toffee pudding. In the second challenge, the bakers have to produce a truly show-stopping cake inspired by the theme of the future. From a Tardis to a hadron collider, they must impress judges Mary Berry and James Martin if they want to secure a place in the semi-final.
