Michael Soi paints Nairobi at night how he sees it

What it was really like to work for pop artist and icon Andy Warhol.   Nikki hears about a new truth-based film that is set to do great things for the Argentine film industry.  Kenyan artist Michael Soi describes his particular view of Nairobi as demonstrated through his work.   The real life stars of the film The Wolf Pack recall an isolated childhood with just a stack of films for company.   From Syria, poets explain that while the civil war continues to ravages the country, literature can be as dangerous as guns. From Zimbabwe the scriptwriters from TV’s Zambezi News tells us just how their humour is getting the country’s leaders hot under the collar. We also hear from Hanya Yanagihara whose latest novel has making the bookmakers a little worried and the programme also hears from an Australian writer and an Indian actress who make their livings from TV soaps. They tell us just how punishing it can be to film on a daily basis.
