Rene is supposed dead and a parade is held in his honour.

Wartime comedy. Rene is supposed dead and a parade is held in his honour, but he is in fact hiding in the museum.

While the village and the Germans pay their respects to the supposed mortal remains of Rene - his cap and boots - the Resistance plots to smuggle him to England. However, he must be kept out of sight until a plane arrives the following night.
