Global markets hace endured a brutal week as concerns about a slowing Chinese economy spooks investors.

More signs of slowdown in China as factory output falls at its fastest rate in six years. David Dollar from Brookings explains how fears about the health of China's economy are spooking the world's financial markets. 

We also focus on the challenge of winning sponsorship for athletics. Independent sponsorship expert Nigel Currie analyses why many athletes, even famous stars of the track are poorly paid.

The French government's attempt to reform the labour markets and stimulate growth has had some unintended consequences this summer: it's harder to get a decent baguette in Paris. We speak to Rémi Héluin, the founder of Painrisien, a blog about Parisian bakeries.
