Suli Breaks introduces DJ Target to the UK's amazing spoken word scene.

The UK's spoken word scene has never been better with the likes of George The Poet, Suli Breaks and Kate Tempest leading the way.

In this show, one of that new generation, Suli Breaks introduces DJ Target to the many different factions that make up the scene as a whole; from poetry slams and conscious rap to spoken word theatre and more hip hop inspired bars.

Along the way he also explores the roots of the scene and attempts to define exactly what spoken word is. Featuring some of the biggest names in the scene including George The Poet, Kate Tempest, Hollie Poetry, Cecelia Knapp, Jemima Foxtrot, Luke Wright and Bang Said The Gun.
