Chris learns that he is the sole heir of Carter Pewterschmidt's fortune.

Animated comedy. When Chris becomes the sole heir of Carter's fortune he refuses to accept the money. Peter takes drastic measures to keep the wealth in the family.

When Carter breaks his leg and Chris has to look after him, the two of them bond. Subsequently, Carter makes Chris the sole heir to the family fortune. Peter wants to get at the money and decides the only way to do it is to marry Chris.
