Children's animation. Postman Pat has been promoted to head of the Special Delivery Service, which means he's now called upon to deliver anything, anytime, anywhere. With his new boss Ben and his faithful companion Jess the cat, Pat proves that he can deliver on time.

Pat is delivering a telescope to Charlie at Greendale Peak for the once-in-a-lifetime comet that will appear that night. His satnav leads him in the wrong direction, however, and the van becomes stuck in mud.
