Darren plans a movie premiere-inspired wedding for Jacquie, his partner of 18 years.

A bride lets her groom organise their big day. Darren plans a movie premiere-inspired wedding for Jacquie, his partner of 18 years.

Warrington couple Darren and Jacquie have been in love for the last 18 years. Raising four children and eight grandchildren has meant they could never afford to get married. But they have now been given a budget of £14,000 towards their big day, and it's down to Darren to organise all the wedding plans in just three weeks.

51-year-old Jacquie feels self-conscious about her looks and is dreaming of a small, elegant traditional wedding. But Darren intends on making her his leading lady by throwing her into the spotlight with an amazing movie premiere-inspired wedding. 

Darren's seeking the approval of his future stepkids - will this wedding garner him the greatest reviews, or will it be a box office flop?

A couple are given money for the wedding of their dreams - which the groom must organise.

A couple who can't afford to marry are given £14,000 for the wedding of their dreams. But there's a catch - they must be wed within three weeks and the groom has to arrange the wedding alone.
