Imelda Staunton joins Simon to talk musical theatre and playing Momma Rose in 'Gypsy' on the West End. 

Gypsy is one of the most critically acclaimed musicals of all time. Adapted from Arthur Laurent's book, Jonathan Kent is bringing the production back to the stage for its first airing since 1973. 

Imelda Staunton stars as the fiery Momma Rose - the ultimate show business mother who is trekking across the US in search of limelight on the dying vaudeville scene. She tells Simon why the production is smashing the box office 40 years since its last run.
