Chris Cartwright leads a service from The City Temple, Cardiff which marks centenary of the Elim Pentecostal Church. George Jeffreys, a young evangelist from Maesteg, in the Llynfi Valley in South Wales, did not seem to be an obvious choice for the ministry, yet went on to found a movement which now comprises 600 Elim churches across Britain, Ireland and churches in over 40 nations of the world. The Rev'd John Glass, General Superintendent of the Elim Pentecostal Church, reflects on how the seemingly coincidental moments of our lives can lead to the transformation of individuals and communities.
