The world famous Round the Island Race takes place every June.  Over 1700 boats of all shapes and sizes take on the 50 nautical mile circuit which starts and finishes at Cowes.

Shelley Jory-Leigh and Neil Sackley will be at the prize giving ceremony on Sunday for a special H2O Show, talking to the organisers and to those who took part.

The Solent is famous for its rich maritime heritage and H2O covers all aspects of life on the water - leisure, business and sport. Whether you're a sailing professional or just like watching the boats go by on the Solent, the programme will have something to appeal to you.
