Deco challenges Roy to a competition in the seaside town of Bray.

Roy is sick of his parents and Becky treating him like a little kid, so on a daytrip to the seaside, Roy decides to run off and prove he can take care of himself.

Deco challenges Roy to a competition in the seaside town of Bray and goads him about being brought to the seaside by his mummy. Roy insists he will meet Deco there by himself and goes home to ask Bill and Maura. Maura refuses, point blank. Bill however, sees how important this is to Roy and offers a compromise - Becky must chaperone him. Becky doesn't like this and Roy is frustrated that his folks still think of him as an irresponsible little kid. On the way to Bray, tensions rise between Becky and Roy, leading to Roy sneaking off by himself. Becky is helped in her search for her little brother by Daniel, a cute boy who works at the arcade, but when they fail to find him, Becky has no choice but to call Bill and Maura. Roy's confidence about his ability to look after himself is shaken by a number of unfortunate mishaps at the arcade with Deco, culminating with Roy dancing his arms and legs into knots. Will Roy be able to free himself before Deco takes embarrassing photos to show to their classmates? Will Becky find him first and punish him for his disobedience? Worse still, will Roy just have to admit that Maura was right all along and he is too young to go off by himself?
