Katie Derham presents a rare performance of Paisiello's comic opera The Barber of Seville, with Rene Jacobs conducting the Freiburg Baroque Orchestra.

Katie Derham presents The Barber of Seville - not in the famous setting by Rossini, but in a lesser known version by Paisiello, who wrote his opera a generation before Rossini. The Freiburg Baroque Orchestra under René Jacobs brush the dust off this rarely performed sparkling comedy, recorded in March at the Palais des Beaux-Arts, Brussels, during this year's KlaraFestival.
