The Twirlywoos learn about up and down when they play with a bouncy ball.

Stop-motion preschool programme. The Twirlywoos learn about up and down when they play with a ball. Back in the boat, Peekaboo has something else for them to bounce on.

The Twirlywoos are in a back garden, where they watch a boy bouncing a ball up and down. The ball bounces out of his hands and lands in the bush where the Twirlywoos are hiding. The boy searches for his ball (narrowly missing the Twirlywoos) and, unable to find it, he goes back inside. When the coast is clear, Chickedy and Chick race out with the ball and start to bounce it to each other. Toodloo and Great BigHoo join in, but when Great BigHoo bounces the ball to Chick he does it with such force that it shoots up in the air, taking Chick with it! Chick and the ball land in a wellington boot, which then starts to bounce around uncontrollably while the other Twirlywoos chase after it. They manage to rescue Chick and catch the ball, just as the Hooter sounds. When they fly away they drop the ball, which lands in front of the boy as he comes back into the garden.

While the Twirlywoos are away, Peekaboo is playing with a piece of elastic that he stretches out of his house as far as it will go. The Twirlywoos return and land on the outstretched elastic, turning it into a trampoline which bounces them up and down, while Peekaboo struggles to keep hold of the end. In the end he pings back into his house, and the Twirlywoos land on the floor.
