A young woman has complained to police about the wolf-whistling she faces everyday on her way to work. Sexist bullying or harmless flirting?

Should wolf-whistling be a crime? A young woman called Poppy Smart has complained about the wolf whistling she faces everyday - she compared it to racist abuse and said it made her anxious and ruined her walk to work.  In the end she complained to the police.  

Is behaviour like this a reminder of the sexist bad old days? Or is it largely harmless - a clumsy sign of attraction, an attempt at flirting? Is everyday casual sexism a problem for you ? Maybe you're a man who whistles... or a woman who likes to be whistled at?
