The film was an 'All-Time Highest Earner' in 1981 and the soundtrack composed by Kalyanji-Anandji was just as successful as the film. Starring Amitabh Bachchan, Zeenat Aman, Amjad Khan and Suresh Oberoi, Laawaris had classic songs such as Mere Angne Mein, Kab Ke Bichde Hue and Apni To Jaise Taise.
