Brian Matthew selects more classics and rarities from pop's golden decade, with the 1969 release Leaving It All Behind by the Grass Roots as his featured album.

Brian Matthew has a selection of listener requests that will be getting some air time, including: Bobby Vee, Pat Boone, The Move, The Mojos, Chicken Shack, Adelaide Hall, Anita Harris, Julie Grant, Robert Mitchum and Bobby Darin. 

The featured album of the week is the 1969 'Leaving It All Behind' by American hit machines, The Grass Roots. Brian will be playing two tracks from the album of the course of the programme.
