Mum and Melody visit a farm. Melody enjoys looking at all the animals, including some chickens. After they've been to the farm they go for tea. Mum says musicians used to play music for people while they were having their cream teas and she gives Melody Jazz Suite No 1 Foxtrot by Shostakovich to listen to, which takes Melody's imagination into the animated world of the fox and chicken. Will the chicken accept a dance with the fox? At the end of the animation, Melody says the music made her think of a fox and chicken dancing.
