'We worship a God in favour of the powerless and despised' - Dr Rowan Williams, Chair of Christian Aid, preaches for the third in a series of Lent services based on this year's Archbishop of Canterbury's Lent Book - Desmond Tutu's 'In God's hands' and exploring what it means to be made in God's image. Seventy Years ago out of the ashes of World War II, churches across the UK came together to work for a better world. From this a renewed sense of Christian responsibility was born.
