Appsolute Genius with Dick and Dom explores the fast and furious world of computer games. Dick and Dom travel the world to meet the creators behind some of the most successful games on the planet, from the creator of the first ever computer game to the genius behind Pac-Man.  

They also discover how geniuses past and present have all influenced the games we love to play.

In this episode Dick and Dom discover the genius of stories in computer games. They reveal three geniuses who have all created legendary tales. From JRR Tolkien, considered the father of fantasy fiction and the man who brought magical worlds to life, and Ron Gilbert, the creator of one of the first big story games, The Secret of Monkey Island, which was so popular it inspired a series of films, to our final genius, Yoshinori Kitase, who brought directing skills to computer games to make them epic.
