Six extraordinary super fans launch into the world of Strictly.

For the first time in Strictly Come Dancing's history, members of the public are invited through the sparkly doors to enter the fabulous world of ballroom and latin dance.

It's the show we've been waiting a decade to see! For the first time in Strictly Come Dancing's history, members of the public are being invited through the sparkly ballroom doors. Tess and Claudia open this series which sees six extraordinary superfans launched into the world of Strictly and living the dream for the millions of fans who've longed to cha-cha their way into the show. 

Past Strictly stars and pro dancers embark on the ultimate feel-good mission: to surprise the unsuspecting heroes in everyday situations. For one of the nominees, supermarket shopping will never be the same again! Once paired with a Strictly pro dancer, they embark on a journey into the fabulous world of ballroom and latin dance, visiting places like Vienna and Madrid to really understand the flavour of their routine. Prepare to laugh and cry as everyday life is put aside and the new stars of Strictly start the adventure of a lifetime.
