Tom Morton highlights the career of guitarist Tim Renwick, who has worked with Al Stewart and Pink Floyd, plus he plays tracks by Edwyn Collins and the Smithereens.

Tom Morton opens his record bag to play the very best in pop and rock music from Scotland's greats as well as the rest of the world with regular features Spin The Globe, Last Orders and Early Morning Soul. In this weekend's Sideman's Journey, Tom highlights the career of guitarist Tim Renwick (solo career and best known for his association with Al Stewart & Pink Floyd and also worked with the likes of Nick Heyward, Mike & The Mechanics, Elton John, Sutherland Brothers, David Bowie & China Crisis). In the Same Title, Different Song feature, the track is 'A Girl Like You' with versions from Edwyn Collins and The Smithereens.
