Katie Derham presents a performance given at Brno Opera of Janacek's The Makropulos Case, with soprano Gitta-Maria Sjoberg as Emily Marty. Plus Saariaho's Laterna Magica.

The Swedish soprano Gitta-Maria Sjoberg sings the role of Emily Marty in a production of Janacek's The Makropulos Case from Brno Opera, with the tenor Ales Briscein as Albert Gregor and the bass-baritone Frantisek Duriac as Dr Kolenaty. Plus Saarijaho's Laterna Magica performed by Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Edward Gardner.
