Jessie J is more than just a pop star. She's a singer, a songwriter and, more importantly, a positive role model for young women and teenagers. 

From a young age Jessie found solace in songwriting, which helped her to channel all of her emotions. As a result, her songs tap into issues for young people, going beyond a superficial level and telling deeper stories - stories which many of her dedicated fans recognise. Whether it's battling an illness, bullying, confidence issues, love, life or death - her lyrics resonate deeply.
