The Oscar nominated director of Boyhood; Richard Linklater joins Shaun this morning to chat about the film and it's incredible soundtrack. Boyhood is a 2014 American coming-of-age drama film written and directed by Richard Linklater. The film was shot intermittently over a 12-year period from May 2002 to October 2013, showing the growth of a young boy and his older sister to adulthood and stars Oscar nominated Patricia Arquette alongside Ellar Coltrane, Lorelei Linklater, and Ethan Hawke.

Shaun chats with Richard about the film 6 Oscar nominations for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, Actor in a Supporting Role (Ethan Hawke), Actress in a Supporting Role (Patricia Arquette) & best Film editing. They also chat about Linklater's previous work, including his films Slacker and Dazed and Confused.
