The hit series returns with more singing action behind the famous turning chairs and a brand new coach. In its fourth year The Voice promises more talent, more tension and more drama than ever before.
Singing superstar Rita Ora joins will.i.am, Sir Tom Jones and Ricky Wilson in the famous spinning chairs. Alongside the first-class coaching panel, dynamic presenting duo Emma Willis and Marvin Humes once again host the Saturday night show.
The contest kicks off with the blind auditions, where the coaches begin the process of building their 12-strong teams by sitting with their backs to the auditionees and spinning their chairs if they are impressed by what they hear. If more than one coach turns, then the hopeful gets to choose whose team they join - and there are fireworks as the coaches pitch to get the best talent on their teams.
In this packed episode auditionees include a Scottish fireman who melts the heart of new coach Rita, a well-known soap star's daughter who brings the audience to tears and a TV return for one of the nation's most well-loved children's characters.
The coaches start the show with a blistering performance of Republica's '90s hit Ready to Go before they take to the chairs for the first of seven blind audition programmes.
