On September 14, Radio 2 broadcast live from London's Hyde Park, showcasing a diverse range of music throughout the day. Jo Whiley presents highlights from that day, most notably from Jeff Lynne's ELO. The headline set mark ELO's first performance since 1986 and was a collaboration between Jeff Lynne and the BBC Concert Orchestra in front of a sell out crowd of 50,000 people. 

Other acts on the bill that feature in this programme are rock icon Chrissie Hynde, 5 time winner of best live act category at the Radio 2 Folk Awards, Bellowhead, rising Country music star Kacey Musgraves, the jazz stylings of Gregory Porter, eclectic UK artist Paloma Faith, the all time best selling black UK artist Billy Ocean, BBC Introducing stage headliners, Ward Thomas, and punk legends and Rock and Roll Hall of Famers, Blondie.
