BBC NOW in Bartok: Divertimento. Barber: Cello Concerto (with Alban Gerhardt). Plus the BBC Singers in music by Tippett and Bingham, and the BBC CO in Porter and Milhaud.

Afternoon on 3 continues its celebration of the BBC Performing Groups with some of their highlight concerts and recordings from 2014. Today's programme features the BBC National Orchestra of Wales in concert at Cheltenham Town Hall performing Bartok and Barber with cellist Alban Gerhardt. Then it's the turn of the BBC Singers, and music to celebrate their 90th birthday this year. Finally to the BBC Concert Orchestra and part of a concert they gave called Crazy Paris, including Milhaud's Les Maries de la Tour Eiffel with narrators Alistair McGowan and Kevin Eldon.
