We learn about magic in our everyday lives when Nigerian author Ben Okri tells us about his latest novel The Age of Magic. One of rock's most charismatic figures Mick Jagger discusses music in film - especially his music. Veteran film director Peter Bogdanovich talks us through the death of old Hollywood and the birth of a new kind of cinema, even his own appearance in the film The Wild Angels. Concert pianist and Chopin fiend Janina Fialkowska describes how she has adapted her playing, after the discovery of cancer in her arm.

British actor Idris Elba, who played Nelson Mandela in the film Long Walk To Freedom, speaks about his new album Mi Mandela. He is just as musical as he is theatrical. We hear all about a literary exchange taking place between Australian indigenous writers and Dalit authors from India. Plus, a report on the commercialisation of gospel music in Kenya.
