Race protests spread in the United States when a grand jury decided that a white policeman who shot dead an unarmed black youth in Ferguson, should not face charges.

Protests spread across the United States after a grand jury decided not to charge a white policeman who shot dead an unarmed black youth in the St Louis suburb of Ferguson. How can this happen under a black president?  A veteran black journalist says discrimination has been getting worse, not better, for decades, and African-Americans have not been putting enough pressure on President Obama.
