Can UK-based broadcasters, like the World Service, avoid a western approach to religious programmes? The UK is an increasingly secular nation but the World Service broadcasts to many countries where the vast majority of people profess to have some kind of religious belief.  A listener to the World Service’s only remaining religious programme, Heart and Soul, says she felt the effect of a western perspective in its most recent edition Zambia: A Christian Nation?
