Janice Forsyth is joined by crime writer Val McDermid and Morris Heggie, editor of The Broons and Oor Wullie. Plus Gary Clark, the Hazey Janes and Model Aeroplanes play live.

Janice Forsyth broadcasts a live show in front of an audience at Abertay Student Centre in Dundee to celebrate the city's cultural heroes, and is joined by crime writer Val McDermid who talks about having a Dundee morgue named after her, editor of The Broons and Oor Wullie Morris Heggie presents a special Pudsey cartoon of Oor Wullie, former member of Danny Wilson, singer and songwriter Gary Clark performs his own special acoustic version of Space Oddity, The Hazey Janes reveal exclusively to The Culture Studio news of the Optimistic Sound EP, a four track CD of Michael Marra songs by the band and featuring members of the RSNO, and perform Michael Marra's Like Another Rolling Stone live, as well as performing their own song If Ever Their Is Gladness; Model Aeroplanes perform two live songs, Electricity and new single Club Low. Comedian Craig Hill talks about performing at the Dundee Rep, and owner of Groucho's Record Store Alastair 'Breeks' Brodie talks about vinyl and plays specially chosen records live on the programme. The new director of the V&A Philip Long talks about the development and his association with the young people from the Hot Chocolate Trust, some of whom join him on the couch to talk about the help they've received from Children in Need.
