Taking time out from their first ever UK tour, we're super-excited that The Pop Group will be 'Popping in' (boom boom) to see Marc and play some songs.

Originally in existence from 1977-1981, the band reunited in 2010 and have played a handful of key festivals around the world including a rapturously received show in Glasgow earlier this year and the final holiday camp edition of the All Tomorrow's Parties festival in Camber Sands, curated by Loop. They have been cited as an influence by artists including Nick Cave, Massive Attack, Primal Scream & St Vincent.

2014 saw the reissue of their 1980 post-punk classic 'We Are Time', remastered from original tapes to huge critical excitement and they are currently playing the album in full on tour around the UK.
