Why African shinty players are rarer than sightings of the Loch Ness monster.

In the village of Drumnadrochit on the banks of Loch Ness in the Highlands of Scotland, there are few things rarer than sightings of the Loch Ness monster, but an African shinty player is one of them! The local shinty club is an important part of community life. Eddie Tembo was born and raised in Zambia, but since arriving in the village he has carved out a successful career in shinty, including representing Scotland. The BBC's Joel Hammer has been to meet him.

On the Prince's Seeiso
The Kingdom of Lesotho is a tiny country, entirely surrounded by South Africa and is one of the poorer nations on earth. In an exclusive interview for Sportshour, Prince Seeiso of Lesotho has revealed his vision for the economic and social development of the Kingdom, through sport. He believes Lesotho could become the world's leading training centre for elite athletes, but that continued political infighting threatens to derail that concept.

A Life Cut Short:
Kamara James packed a lot in her short life. Having moved from Jamaica as a child she studied at Princeton and Harvard. She raised $50,000 to enable her dream of competing at the Olympics in the sport of fencing; something she achieved in Athens in 2004 aged just 19. We speak to her former team mate and Olympic silver medallist Keeth Smart, about his friend has who passed away.
