A torrid week for global stock markets as fears over the health of the world economy grow.

Vicky Mohieddeen from Koryo Tours and Peter Morici from the University of Maryland in Washington joins Jon Bithrey to discuss a turbulent few days for stock markets around the world. 

We examine what could be worrying investors - the Ebola outbreak or uncertainty in Europe. Alan Auerbach, Professor of Economics at the University of California in Berkeley shares his insights. 

We’re also joined by the BBC's Jennifer Pak in Kuala Lumpur to hear about the key stories there. The plastic bag has been falling out of favour in recent years, now California has banned them in all grocery stores. We hear the views of shoppers in the Golden State… 

And could it be time for Barbie to start claiming her pension? Recent sales of the doll have fallen by 21%. Toy industry consultant Richard Gottlieb in New York shares his view on children’s changing tastes.
