Series about the First World War, told through the eyes of the children who were alive at the time. At the beginning of the war, a 14-year-old French schoolboy is full of patriotism. He pretends to be the right age and enters the army against the will of his parents. His romantic ideas of honour are quickly dashed by the disenchantment of modern warfare.
