The actor much loved for his role as the gawky teenager in Gregory's Girl talks to Edi Stark about his view of acting now that he has found what he 'really wants to do'. With two successful thrillers and a third already commissioned, he is fast becoming Scotland's hottest writing talent. He also admits that life can imitate fiction and without Gregory's Girl and meeting co star Clare Grogan his life would be considerably poorer.
