Extratime talks to Emma O'Reilly who was pivotal in bringing down Lance Armstrong, the seven times winner of the Tour de France. Hers is a unique view from inside the US Postal cycling team in the late 1990s. She was a soigneur, taking care of all the rider's needs: from massages, to meals, and hotels but when it came to the team's doping programme, cycling's omerta, its culture of silence, held sway. That is until Emma O'Reilly decided to blow the whistle. She had first-hand knowledge of doping inside US Postal and her public revelations incurred the wrath of Lance Armstrong who labelled her an alcoholic whore. Recently she forgave him but does he deserve it?
