Tom Morton has a session and interview with Ayrshire band Dumb Instrument, plus he highlights the career of Scottish drummer Andy White in A Sideman's Journey.

Tom Morton opens his record bag to play the very best in pop and rock music from Scotland's greats as well as the rest of the world with regular features Spin The Globe, Last Orders and Early Morning Soul. Ayrshire band Dumb Instrument are in session and conversation and in this weekend's Sideman's Journey, Tom highlights the career of Scottish drummer Andy White (he replaced Ringo Starr on drums on The Beatles first single 'Love Me Do' and played with many artists including Chuck Berry, Billy Fury, Tom Jones, Herman's Hermits, The Smithereens and Rod Stewart). The Long Haired music track tonight is 'Silver Machine' from Hawkwind.
