TOPIC 1: SEXUAL ASSAULT
A fourth sexual assault (3 of which were rape) has taken place in Glasgow over the last four weeks. There is nothing to link the rapes. A midnight walk took place in Queens Park last night under the name of 'These Streets are Made for Walking' - organised by two young women who live in Toryglen and were 'tired of the harassment and the fear of assault' in their daily lives. People were enrolled through Facebook and as of 0930 on Monday morning 3.7 thousand people had signed up for it. In 2012 - 2013, Rape Crisis had a 42% increase in people using their helpline

Children whose parents have divorced are more likely to be obese, as they may turn to junk food for convenience and comfort, new research has suggested. Overall children whose parents had divorced were almost 60 per cent more likely to be overweight or obese when compared with children of married parents, it was found. Lead author Dr Anna Biehl, of Division of Epidemiology, at the Norwegian Institute of Public Health, wrote in the journal BMJ Open: More boys were affected than girls
