Tom Morton presents a selection of rock and pop music from Scotland and around the world.

Tom Morton plays pop and rock music, plus he highlights the career of Scottish musician Roger Ball in A Sideman's Journey and the Long Haired Music track is by Greenslade.

Tom Morton opens his record bag to play the very best in pop and rock music from Scotland's greats as well as the rest of the world with regular features Spin The Globe, Last Orders and Early Morning Soul. In this weekend's Sideman's Journey, Tom highlights the career of Scottish saxophonist, keyboardist, songwriter and arranger Roger Ball (solo career and one of the founding members of the Average White Band and associated with numerous other acts including Vinegar Joe, Badfinger, Kiki Dee, Elton John, Bryan Ferry, Roxy Music and Marvin Gaye). The Long Haired music track tonight is 'Bedside Manners Are Extra' by Greenslade.
