Journalist and author Tony Parsons talked about his new fictional detective. Teacher Matthew Burton, star of the Channel 4 documentary series Educating Yorkshire and Richard Burnett, co-founder of the Mindfulness In Schools project explained some practical solutions to the perennial problem of school exams. Fat Lad confessed about tampering with the shower gel constantly purloined by his volleyball coach. Rebecca's business guests included Rob Wood, Chief UK economist with Barenberg Bank who discussed why the Bank Of England will keep interest rates low for the foreseeable future and Laurence Olins, Chairperson of British Summer Fruits explained why British Strawberry Season has begun earlier this year. Matt revealed what Luis Suarez considered the reason for Liverpool losing the Premiership title to Manchester City and he also spoke to Hull FC prop Mickey Paea about a a magic weekend of sport for Hull. Bobbie Prior was on-hand with the latest travel news and Dr Mosh donned his spandex for another rockin' tune. Plus Steve Wintle revealed in the Homework Sucks question why our houses may not be as safe as we think because one household key can open several front doors. It fitted seemlessly into the Cops and Robbers themed oldies inspired by the listeners.
