Dan Holland and Gillian Russell are joined by chef Neil Forbes to present a special edition packed full of recipe ideas to inspire cooking in the early days of spring.

As the weather brightens and the evenings lengthen our thoughts turn away from hearty soups and stews as we begin to look forward to slightly lighter food. This week Dan Holland and Gillian Russell present a special edition of The Kitchen Cafe - alongside chef Neil Forbes - which is packed full of recipe ideas to inspire your cooking in the early days of spring!

Chef Andy Cumming shows Gillian how to make classic kedgeree, a perfect brunch dish at this time of year while cook and food writer Mary Contini demonstrates that a slow roast pork belly can be simple enough to do at home, a delicious dish for a relaxed Sunday lunch.

Chef Steven Devlin makes tagliatelli with spinach, a fast but tasty midweek tea and chef Michael Smith show Dan how to cook a spicy couscous - a versatile dish which will reawaken your taste buds!
