Belfast Trust says an MRI scanner for the Royal's Children's hospital won't be in place until 2015. 
One caller rang Radio Foyle - the charge on his bill took him by surprise.

The Belfast Trust has told the Nolan show that an MRI scanner planned for the Royal's Children's hospital in Belfast will not be in place until 2015. That's despite 2 million pounds being raised to buy a scanner six months ago following a three-year charity appeal. How much money is a child's life worth? Forty thousand pounds according to the Western Trust. Nine-year-old Raychel Ferguson died in Altnagelvin hospital after she was given a lethal dose of intravenous fluid. She'd been admitted to have her appendix removed in 2001. Her death was investigated as part of the Hyponatraemia Inquiry. Rachel’s mum asks - "Who gives them the right to say my daughter's life was only worth £40K?"
