Gillian and Stuart Orrett were desperate to be closer to their first grandchild in Perth, Australia. A year on, Nicki Chapman discovers if they have made the move for good.

Gillian and Stuart Orrett often dreamt of emigrating so when eldest daughter Christine moved to Perth and had the couple's first grandchild, their resolve only strengthened.

On a trial week living in Australia, paramedic Gillian discovered work opportunities were good and the move looked certain but did fate intervene? 

One year on, Nicki Chapman discovers if the Orrett family have finally been reunited on the other side of the world.
